Monday, The Truth
Hopefully you went grocery shopping and you are all set to make your meals for the week. Although it is Monday still, you can still do it! Go out after work or whenever and at least buy your meals for today and tomorrow! Don't forget good healthy snacks!!
Assignment: Now we have to honest with ourselves. We are going to do some diagnostic evaluations!
What is wrong with me? No sorry (I should know better as an educator) , what choices do I make incorrectly.
Now I mean don't trick yourself or defend yourself to someone.
Think honestly.
It is only you that you hurt by pretending that you don't make any mistakes and you are just mysteriously unable to be the person you want to be.
Whatever your weakness.
Mine:
1. Too large of portion sizes at dinner -stems from not eating regularly during the day and being starving at dinner.
2. I don't make good choices when I eat out.-I have to remember that the goal is to have a good healthy meal and nourish my body, not to stuff myself with something that will only satisfy me for an hour or so.
3. I do not exercise
4. I do not have control over sweets. Even though I do a great job of not bringing them into my house on a regular basis, when I come into contact with them, I binge.
Among others. I am going to write these on the back of my goals (the whole world does not have to see these, although with this blog I suppose it is now possible). And then of course try and correct them as I am aware of them.
Tips of the day:
1. Check out Cooking Lights Recipes. Below is the search page. I am always looking for healthy snacks I can make and have all ready in my fridge for when the attach hits!

My favorite snack is carrots dipped in peanut butter! Filling and packed with protein! Just make sure its "good" peanut butter and not filled with preservatives! I started working out on my lunch hour today... one step in the right direction!
