We begin!
Okay, So where to start!
As a teacher I always start a lesson with a purpose which I suppose translates to a goal. So I think the best idea for me is to write down my goals for this 30 days. AND put them somewhere I can see them and remind myself of them.
My Goals:
1. No more sweets after dinner/evening.
2. Exercise 1-2 times a week(I hope to increase this in intensity and amount as I recover from my c-section)
3. Lose weight (not specific to 30 days, but I am hoping for about 8 or so pounds in this first 30 days).
4. Eat more vegetables and fruits, spend more time cooking healthy meals.
5. Fit into my favorite clothes!
6. Unrelated to eating and diet: Try and find a way to send a gift or correspondence to all my friends and family this holiday season.
So write your goals. I suggest 5 or so at varying levels of what is possible for you. Be realistic. Nobody loses 20 pounds in 30 days. I would aim for 2 pounds a week at the most.
Make one to do with something else in your life.
Print them out and hang them somewhere you will see them. If you want someone else to see them or not is up to you? I kinda like that my husband can see them because it puts a little pressure on me to impress him :)
